I’m sorry I didn’t get to meet you in person so I could tell you how much you’ve impacted my life. 💔 It started with you telling me to...but it evolved into you reminding me to...to be kind even in this sometimes cruel and scary world. You see, I was brought up in a loving, caring family much like yours but over the years have become more defensive, hardened, had this everyone fend for themselves attitude, because that’s just the way it seems to be these days or at least it seemed to be before I heard about you and your bucket list. Imagine me, a 46 year old woman humbled by a 17 year old girl (at the time). 😩😂. I got so caught up in the every day hustle and bustle that I, at some point, lost track of who I was, where I came from, who raised me. Of course I’ve always continued to be kind to my family and close friends because that’s the way I was raised but I was definitely shut off from the rest of the world with the “it’s either me or you attitude”. Call it selfish, defence mechanism, etc. either way, I was just going through my everyday life, minding my own business until you came into it. You Becca, you changed all that! You reminded me that it’s not about getting to the end, the survival of the fittest. You reminded me that it’s the small things, the every day moments that we need to cherish, to always be kind, not only to our family and friends, but to everyone around us. You have reminded me to “Live my Dash”, cherish every moment good or bad because we are not here forever. You may no longer be physically present here with us but you will always be here with us. You have forever changed all of our lives for the better! ❤️💕❤️ #LivingMyDash #BeccaToldMeTo ...

My aunt has issues with alcohol. I know she would rather drink than spend money on food. It's been like this for years and years. I took her some food today to make sure she has food in her belly. I don't like her choices but love her. I was thinking of Becca as I did this. ...

I have great news for Becca fans in Miramichi, NB! Earlier this week, I personally drove a box of #BeccaToldMeTo to ARM BOOK NOOK. Many people have been asking for the book in that region and they all pointed me to this used bookstore that employs young adults on the Autism spectrum. My son is on the spectrum and what they have been doing there since 2014 is heartwarming. $5 will stay with the non-profit for every $20 book sold and net proceeds go back to Darren Schofield and Anne Schofield. Thank you to the Schofields for helping support a cause close to my heart. A book signing is planned for Saturday, March 24th from 2pm-4pm. I will be bringing Becca bookmarks and shirts. ...
